RSA CARD

To work in a bar in Australia you must have an RSA card, (Responsible Service of Alcohol).  It looks better if you have this before you go for an interview, as you will not be permitted to start work without it.  It’s a one day course, and it costs approx $90-$100.

The RSA card in NSW (New South Wales) is recognized in the other states of Australia, however, if you got one from outside NSW, it will not recognized in NSW (get it?!).
